Guidelines for our Studio
We offer both “In-studio classes” and online classes via Zoom.
However, for those choosing in-studio classes, be aware that for now, not all lessons will be held at the studio. Some classes will continue via Zoom.
Zoom classes will be broadcast from either the Studio or the teacher's home.
We will start by taking every measure possible for the health and safety of our teachers, students, and their families.
Please read the following. Also, please watch the attached video.
Studio Protocol
1. Limited number of people entering the studio
We will limit the number of people taking lessons, accompanying persons, and visitors to the studio.
2. Cleaning, Disinfecting, Sanitizing
We will disinfect the bars touched by students, clean the changing room, and sanitize after every class.
The studio will also be disinfected by UV-C light at the end of the day
3. Masks for teachers, students, and accompanying persons
In accordance with building regulations, please have a mask on when entering the building.
Mask-wearing during lessons in-studio is mandatory, we will take mask discomfort into consideration with more frequent water breaks.
4. Ventilation
We will keep the windows open and run the air conditioner during lessons. We are also running a HEPA filtration system in the studio.
5. Sanitizer placement
There will be thorough hand-washing and use of hand sanitizer upon arrival to the studio and at the end of the lesson.
Student and Parent/Guardian Protocol
1 Daily health management and temperature check. Be aware that automated temperature checks will be taken upon entering the building at the security desk. Also every one must answer short COVID related questions at that time. Hariyama Ballet Passes must be shown to the security guard.
2 Refrain from coming to the school when students or accompanying persons are feeling unwell, Please do not come to the school if you are experiencing any of the following:
(Please contact us if you would like the studio to determine whether you should come)
● Cold symptoms (sneezing, coughing, etc.)
● Fever
● Tiredness or stuffiness
● Cough, phlegm, or chest discomfort
● Abnormal sense of taste or smell
● Family members or close friends who are suspected of being sick
● Traveled abroad within the past 14 days or have visited a state where you are required to self-isolate or in close contact with someone to whom this applies.
● Going in and out of high risk areas
● Otherwise feeling unwell
※You may participate in online classes if you decide not to come to the studio
3. Items to bring to the studio
・Personal towel for hand washing
・Mask
・Drinking water
・Disinfectant, sanitizer gel/wipes, tissues, etc.

Building Arrival Procedure
1 As stated above, you must put on your mask before entering the building.
In accordance with building regulations, those not wearing a mask may not enter the building.
Always wear your mask from the time you arrive at the studio until you leave the building.
Please show your Hariyama Ballet Pass at the security desk. You will not be able to enter
without a pass.
2 Up to 2 people in the elevator
In accordance with building regulations, no more than 2 people may ride the elevator.
However more than 2 family members are permitted.
3 Sanitize your hands when you arrive
Remove your shoes at the entrance mat outside of the studio and put them into the shoe rack in the waiting area. (do not put your shoes inside the studio)
4 Studio entry time
You may enter the studio 15 minutes before the lesson starts.
There may be situations when the entry time will differ depending on how the groups are divided
5 Using the changing room
No more than six people are allowed in the changing room at a time
To avoid overcrowding in the studio, please do your best to be dressed and have your hair done at home before you come.
※For those students who cannot change clothes at home, please move to the back of the
changing room to dress. For those who just need to remove some clothing, please remove outerwear near the entrance.
Promptly place bags in the cubbies. Leaving bags on the floor is not permitted.
Change clothes where tape is marked on the floor. Those who have finished changing should wait at their tape mark, or enter the studio from the back door and wait for instructions from the teacher.

6 Using the toilet
※According to building regulations, the toilet can only be occupied by one person at a time (except when accompanied by a parent/guardian.)
When using the toilet, please wear restroom slippers or street shoes.
As in the past, wearing ballet or dance shoes in the restroom is prohibited. If you wear dance shoes in the restroom, you will be not be able to use them on the dance floor.(You will need to take them home to clean and disinfect.)
7 Eating, drinking; beautification, cleaning, disinfecting
Food is prohibited in the studio. Only drinks are allowed.
Please do not throw trash away in the studio. Please take everything you brought with you
(including trash).
We ask for your cooperation to keep the studio beautiful, clean and sanitary.
8. Parents/guardians must not stay in the studio.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but students need a larger dressing room during these times. The entire waiting area will be used as a dressing / prep area. Parents and guardians must minimize their stay in the waiting area. We ask that students be dropped off, and after using the restroom if needed, leave the studio until they can be picked up.
※According to building regulations, parents and students that they can not congregate in the hallways or near the restrooms before, during or after classes in order to respect the people coming to see the Doctor in 310.
※For the kids’ classes, we may ask that a parent/representative stay just in case, or if the student might need accompaniment to the restroom during class. We will discuss who will be responsible.

【Beginning of lesson】
Have your mask on and a water bottle in hand, then follow the teacher’s instruction to enter the room.
Enter the room from the back door of the waiting room. When the class is finished, leave the room using the door near the studio entrance.
【End of lesson/Going home】
・After the lesson has ended, wash/sanitize your hands.
・After the lesson has ended, please take no longer than fifteen minutes to change clothes and leave promptly.
・Wipe the shelves where you placed your bag with wipes provided.
We ask that parents/guardians picking up students refrain from entering the studio and maintain social distance by waiting for students outside the building. If you must enter the studio, please judge the situation first by seeing how many people are inside.

If a student or a member of their household was diagnosed with COVID-19,
please let us know immediately. We must prevent spread and may close the studio temporarily for safety.
In order to continue lessons with peace of mind, we ask for the cooperation of all students and parents. Please take the above measures to prevent the spread of infectious diseases. We will do our best to resume reopening as outlined above. We can not take any responsibility for illness.
In the unlikely event that someone contracts COVID, and depending on government mandates, it
is possible that we would have to return to online classes only. We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation.

New York Forward Regulations
Hariyama Ballet is reopening under the authority of New York as outlined on the State's official website: NY Forward Regulations for Reopening (forward.ny.gov).
Hariyama Ballet falls under NAICS, code 611610: Fine Arts Schools.
Fine Arts Schools may reopen and are classified as "permitted to operate with restrictions."
Among the restrictions Hariyama Ballet must adhere to includes complying with all of the health and safety guidelines issued by the state and city.
ハリヤマバレエ・スタジオ再開について
『A:スタジオでの受講』と、『B:オンラインを使ったZOOM受講』の両方をオファー致します。
『A:スタジオで受講』をお選びいただいても全てのクラスがスタジオ開講される訳ではなく、クラスによってはご自宅でZOOMレッスンを受けて頂きます。『B:オンラインを使ったZOOM受講』はZOOMのみの受講でレッスンはスタジオと指導者の自宅から配信いたします。
段階を踏み、世の状況を見ながら慎重に、教師と生徒とその家族の健康・安全のために出来る限りの対策を講じた上で開講してまいりますため開講状況は変更される場合があります。
以下は必ずお読みください。また添付ビデオは必ず生徒と共にご覧ください。
【スタジオで行う対策】
１．人数制限
・スタジオでのレッスン受講者、また付き添い、スタジオ来訪人数を制限いたします。
・スタジオレッスンをお休みした場合のメークアップはZOOMにて受講していただくことになります。
状況が改善されるまでの対応にご理解をお願いいたします。
２．清掃・消毒・除菌
・生徒が触るバーの消毒、更衣室の清掃、除菌を通常以上に行います。
３．講師、生徒、付き添いの方、全員のマスク着用
・マスクはビルの規定によりビル到着時から着用してください。
・レッスン中はマスクをすることにより苦しくならないよう配慮しながらマスク着用で進行します。
・給水タイムも多く設けます。
４．換気
・レッスンの際に窓を開け、空調機も使って送風を行います。
５．消毒剤配置
・手洗いと消毒液の利用をスタジオ到着時とレッスン終了後に徹底して行います。

【生徒、保護者の方に行っていただきたい対策】
①日常的な体調管理と検温。
②生徒、また引率者で体調が思わしくない場合は来校の自粛。
また下記に、一つでも該当する点がある方は来校しないでください。
（判断をスタジオに委ねたい場合はご連絡下さい。）
・風邪の症状(くしゃみや咳が出る)
・熱っぽい
・だるさ(倦怠感)や息苦しさがある
・咳、痰、胸部不快感のある
・味覚や嗅覚に異変のある
・同居家族や身近な知人に感染が疑われる方がいる
・過去14日以内に、海外へ渡航または海外から帰国、また外出自粛を求められている州へ出向いた、並び にそれらに該当する方との濃厚接触がある
・リスクが高いと考えられる場所に出入りがある
・その他、体調不良の方
※自粛期間もオンラインレッスンには参加いただけます。
③対策のためにスタジオに持参するもの
・手洗い使用するタオル
・マスク
・飲み水
・殺菌剤、除菌ジェル・ワイプ、ティッシュなど

【ビル到着後からの対策】
①ビルに入る前からマスクを必ず着用。
※ビルの規定によりマスクが無い方は入れません。
スタジオ到着からビルを出るまでマスクは常に着用してください。
＊セキュリティーデスクでハリヤマバレエパスを見せてください。パスがないと入れません。
②エレベーターは二人まで
※ビルの規定によりエレベーターに乗れるのは二人までです。
但し家族の場合のみ二人以上での乗車可能。
③ビルに到着したら、手の消毒を行う。
靴はスタジオの外側にある入り口マットの上で脱ぎに靴箱に入れる。
（＊靴でスタジオ内に入らないこと）
④スタジオ入室可能時間
入室可能時間はレッスン開始15分前から可とします。
クラスによっては更に入室可能時間をグループごとに分ける場合があります。
⑤更衣室の利用
・更衣室を利用は6人以内とします。
・ヘアの準備と着替えは出来る限りスタジオの密を避けるため、ご自宅で済ませてから来てください。
※自宅で着替えが出来なかった生徒はなるべく更衣室の奥へ進み着替える。
服を脱ぐだけの生徒は入り口に近い方で脱衣してください。
荷物は速やかに棚に入れるか、スタジオ内に持ち込むことも可能。荷物を床に置いたままにすることは禁止します。
・着替えは床に張られているテープの上で行い、着替えが終わった生徒はそのままテープの上で待機するかスタジオに奥のドアから入り、指導者の指示に従って待機。
⑥トイレの利用
※トイレはビルの規定により1人ずつしか入室できません。（保護者の引率は除く。）
・トイレを利用する際は、トイレ用スリッパか外靴を使用してください。
バレエまたはダンスシューズでのトイレ利用は以前から禁止です。ダンスシューズのままトイレを利用された場合、フロアでのシューズ使用をお断りします。（持ち帰って洗浄、消毒していただきます。）
⑦飲食と各所の美化・清掃・除菌
・スタジオでの飲食は禁止させていただきます。飲み物のみ可能。
・またゴミをスタジオに捨てないでください。持参されたものは全て（ゴミも含む）お持ち帰りください。
スタジオの美化・清掃にご協力ください。
⑧保護者・付き添いの方はスタジオに滞在出来ません。
生徒たちの着替えスペースを広くとらなければならないこと、また待合室の換気状況が万全ではなく保護者、付・き添いの方が長時間密室に滞在することは出来ないため、生徒をドロップオフして生徒がトイレを済ませましたら、申しわけありませんが保護者の方はお迎えまでスタジオからご退室願います。
※またビル側からも生徒、保護者、引率の方は＃３１０のフィジカルセラピーオフィスの邪魔にならないよう通路での滞在もご遠慮ご配慮頂きたいとのこと。
※キッズクラスにおいては代表の保護者に万が一のため、またクラス中の生徒のトイレ引率のために滞在をお願いさせていただく場合があります。担当については相談させていただきます。

【レッスン開始時】
・生徒はマスクを着用したまま水のボトルを持って指導者の指示に従って入室。
・入室には待合室奥のドアから入室、レッスン終了時はスタジオ入り口に近い側のドアから退室する。
【レッスン終了・帰宅時】
・レッスン終了後、手洗い・または消毒を行う。
・生徒は使用したロッカーを拭いてください。
・レッスン終了後は、15分以内に着替えて速やかにご帰宅ください。
お迎えの保護者はスタジオ内にはなるべく入らず、お互いのソーシャルディスタンスを保ちつつスタジオ外で生徒をお待ちください。
中に入る必要がある保護者は、中の人数を見て状況を判断して入室ください。

皆さんが少しでも安心してレッスンが続けられるよう、生徒・保護者の皆さま方も、以上の感染症拡大防止対策を遵守していただきご協力いただけますようお願いいたします。
もし生徒、また生徒のご家族と濃厚接触にあたる人にコロナ感染が発生した場合は至急ご連絡ください。
詳しい状況を把握させて頂きスタジオは休校になると思われます。出来る最善を尽くして再開致しますが、コロナ感染に関してハリヤマバレエスクールでは一切責任を負いかねます。
行政からの要請など、再びオンラインレッスンのみにせざるを得ない場合もありますが、ご理解とご協力のほど、よろしくお願いいたします。
