Mami Hariyama ( Ballet )

Founder of Hariyama Ballet New York. Director, Teacher, Coach and Pianist.
Raised and coached dancers who won the prises at the competitions around the world.
Loving teaching children and adults in different ages and level. Opened hew own ballet studio in Midtown, New York in 2010.
 Mami Hariyama was born in Osaka, Japan. Her father is clarinetist and mother is pianist.
Her two sisters are ballerinas. Mami has two main professional careers: ballet and piano. She trained and performed ballet in Osaka and was coached by Vaganova ballet teachers.
At 15, she traveled to St. Petersburg, Russia to dance and also to Indianapolis,USA where she took lessons with Irina Kolpakova.
Staring from the age of 17 as a pianist, Mami traveled throughout Japan with Ludmila Kovaleva andMariya Grivanova from the Vaganova ballet academy, a relationship that continues during her summer returns to Japan. She played many schools through Japan. 
Since moving to New York in 2004, Mami's piano has been heard in studios such as Steps on Broadway, Broadway Dance Center, and American Ballet Theater, working with more than 100 different teachers.
Mami is the pianist for 2010 and 2014 International Ballet Competition USA. She recorded balet CD with Master teacher David Howard and also recorded three ballet CDs with the official Disney record which is sold by Avex record in 2014. 
Her family and she produced "Dream Concert" in Osaka and Tokyo in 2001, 2003, 2006 and 2009, brought world renowned dancers and musicians. The performers included herself, her parents and their musician friends. Dances were performed by her sisters and guests. It was successful and covered by the media. 
Presently her efforts are geared to "Hariyama Ballet NY", her own ballet school in New York, Midtown Manhattan.
She opened her own ballet studio in New York 2010 and renoveted in 2014.
Her students are awarded in several competitions around the world. She also travels around the US and Japan as guest teacher and coach to give Master Class.

2010年9月に自らのHariyama Ballet New York - M performing artsスタジオをミッドタウン・マンハッタンにオープン。子ども達からプロを目指す生徒、そして大人までが通っている。パフォーマンスは年に一から二度開催し、また近年生徒達はコンクールで数々入賞、バレエ団へも生徒を送り出している。


Akiko began her ballet training at the age of 7.
She joined the Belleame Stage Create in Tokyo as a soloist in 1993.
Her repertory includes “the Nutcracker”, “swan Lake”, “The Scarlet Letter A” - choreography by Suwako Tago.
She has also performed both Nationally and Internationally as a member of the Japan Ballet Association.
Akiko has experience teaching and choreographing ballet in Tokyo and Kanagawa for both children and adults at the school of Belleame.
She moved to the US in 2003.
Akiko is a certified instructor by the Pilates Academy International. She has been teaching Pilates including All Mat, Reformer, Chair, Cadillac, Cardiolates, SilkSuspension™️and Instructor Certification class at Pilates on Fifth since 2007.

しかし、留学中に怪我をし、その間ピラティスのクラスを受講。のちにPilatesインストラクターの資格(マット、リフォーマー、バレル、チェアー、キャデラック、SilkSuspension™️)を取得。pilates on fifthインストラクター、マスターインストラクター。
2015年よりHariyama Balletにて、バレエの指導を始める。

Yuka Kawasaki (Ballet, Pilates, Body Conditioning)

Yuka Kawasaki was born in Mie,Japan. She began her training at the age of five with teachers Haruko and Aco Ono at Ono Ballet Studio.
She graduated Osaka University of Art in 2004 and Majored in Performing arts and Ballet.
She trained dance classic with Jyu Horiuchi,Taeko Kanashige and Modern dance with Kiyoko Kato and Mutsuko Imaoka.
She started teaching at the Ooze Dance and Ono Ballet Studio and joined several Ballet performance,fashion&hair shows,events as a dancer and a choreographer.
After moved NYC in 2005,she studied Ballet Hawaii,Boston Ballet and became a teacher at Hariyama Ballet.
She is a certificated pilates teacher by Pilates Academy International and Aromatherapy adviser by Aroma Environment Association of Japan. Body Tone Yoga New York RTY200

大阪芸術大学 芸術学部舞台芸術学科 舞踊コース卒業。ダンスクラシックを堀内充、金繁妙子、モダンダンスを加藤きよ子、今岡むつ子に師事する。
2005年よりNYに移住。Hariyama Balletの教師となる。Ballet Hawaii、Boston Balletにて短期研修。
日本には年2回滞在し、バレエスタジオ、スポーツジム、ダンススタジオなどでゲスト講師として活躍している。"2017年よりBody Tone Yoga NYにてヨガ講師養成プログラム講師就任。

Mikhail Ilyin Ballet,

Born in St. Petersburg, Mikhail is a graduate Vaganova Ballet Academy in 1998 with BA in Arts. In 1999, he joined the Boston Ballet for two years, then Miami City Ballet where he became principal in 2003.
His repertoire with Miami City Ballet included leading roles in Swan Lake, Paquita, Le Corsaire, Coppélia, The Nutcracker, Giselle, The Sleeping Beauty, Stars and Stripes, Sonatine, Ballet Imperial, Apollo, Theme and Variations, Allegro Brillante, Ballo della Regina, Glinka Pas de Trois, Donizetti Variations, Prodigal Son, La Source, Western Symphony, Symphony in C, Afternoon of a Faun, Dances at a Gathering, Interplay, Company B, Arden Court, Piazzolla Caldera, Giggling Rapids, The Reassuring Effects (of Form and Poetry), The Golden Section, Nine Sinatra Songs and In the Upper Room.
Mikhail Ilyin joined American Ballet Theatre in January 2008, he performed leading roles and soloist roles in Etudes, Corsaire, Company B, Rabbit and Rogue, Swan Lake, Merry Widow, Sleeping Beauty among others.
Ilyin won the Gold Medal at the International Ballet Competition “Vaganova Prix” and a diploma at the Paris International Dance Competition (1998), Silver Medal at the New York International Ballet Competition (2000) and Bronze Medal at the International Ballet Competition in Jackson (2002).

Mikhail Ilyin has performed, taught and choreographed across the United States, including the Miami City Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, American Ballet Theater’s JKO and Joffrey schools among others. In 2005, he was chosen by Dance Magazine as one of the “to watch” dancers of today. He has been an Artist-in-Residence with Ballet Mississippi since 2005
In addition Mikhail Ilyin is fully certified with all the levels of ABT’s National Training Curriculum Pedagogy Program and the Feldenkrais Methode of Somatic Education( a 4 year Professional Training Program in Awareness Through Movement and Functional Integration). 



Born in Fresno, California, Kelley Boyd received her preliminary training at the Severance School of Dance where she studied with Margaret Hord, Jeanna Gailar, Carla Stallings-Lippert and Christopher and Françoise Doyle. At the age of nine Boyd began performing in productions with the Fresno Ballet. She performed leading roles in the Nutcracker, Cinderella, and La Fille Mal Gardee. Boyd spent a number of summers training at some of the countries top ballet schools including Boston Ballet’s Children’s summer workshop, the School of American Ballet, and American Ballet Theatre. After graduating from high school in 1999, Boyd moved to Virginia where she spent two years as an apprentice with the Richmond Ballet. While in Richmond, she performed roles in Eliot Feld’s Contra Pose, Val Caniparoli’s Djangology, Malcom Burn’s Romeo & Juliet and Cinderella. Boyd joined American Ballet Theatre’s Studio Company in September 2001 and became an apprentice with the main company in October of the same year. She joined American Ballet Theatre as a member of the corps de ballet in August 2002. Boyd retired from the stage in July 2014 to spend more time with her family including her son Aidan, now 7 and daughter Charlotte 4.Boyd’s roles with American Ballet Theater included the Gigue Girl in Airs, the Daughter in Offenbach in the Underworld, the Lustful One in Three Virgins and a Devil, The Ranch Owner’s Daughter in Rodeo, the Young Girl in The Green Table, the Nurse in Romeo and Juliet, Berthe in Giselle, Little Lizzie in Fall River Legend and Effie in La Sylphide, as well as roles in all of the company’s full-length ballets.

ニューヨークがベースの「The Broadway Experience」(TBE)、子供のためのミュージカルプログラムのアシスタントディレクター。
15歳で異例の劇団四季合格、10年間「キャッツ」や「オペラ座の怪人」等に出演し、イギリスのダンスカンパニー、トニー賞を受賞した「白鳥の湖」で有名なマシュー・ボーンカンパニーに日本人で初めて合格、10年間滞在し、イギリス、ヨーロッパ、日本、アメリカ、オーストラリア、韓国公演等に主役、メインキャラクターとしても出演。昨年も新作「Sleeping Beauty」のUSAツアーに参加。
ピッツバーグ大学ミュージカル『Zanna Don’t!』公演の振り付け担当。現在は、アメリカ在住、ラグアーディア高校ダンス講師やCedar Lakeダンスカンパニークラスゲスト講師 ,大学のミュージカル公演の振り付け、アシスタント等で活躍中。

Mami Tomotani is ASSISTANT DIRECTOR & JAPAN COORDINATOR of The Broadway Experience musical theatre program based in New York City. She is also a performer and freelance teacher in the USA, Japan and the UK.
She worked with Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures for more than ten years and was a principal dancer with the company. Productions included the TONY award winning Swan Lake, (London, UK and Europe tour), Sleeping Beauty, (USA tour), The Nutcracker, (London, UK tour, USA, Japan and Korea) The Car-man, (London, UK tour and Japan) Highland Fling, (London, Japan and UK) and Edward Scissorhands, (Australia, London, UK tour, Japan, Korea and USA) which won the 2007 New York Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Theatrical Event.
She also performed in The King and I at The Royal Albert Hall in London. Mami was a member of Landestheater Ballet Linz in Austria. She joined the Shiki Theatrical company when she was 15 years old. Her credits included Cats, Jesus Christ Superstar, West Side Story, The Phantom of the Opera, Aspects of Love and HANS (Andersen). Alongside her credits as a performer she served as a dance captain in many productions. Mami has performed for Suisei company playing Iris Kelly in the musical Fame.
Film credits include Matthew Bourne’s The Nutcracker and made regular TV appearances with Highland Fling and Nutcracker! (Fuji TV Networks, Tokyo TV Networks, Japan and the BBC UK.)
Mami Choreographed “Zanna Don’T!” at Pittsburgh University and LaGuardia High School class performance and The Broadway Experience summer program performance. She assist rehearsal director of Matthew Bourne “Dorian Gray” in Japan.
Specializing in contemporary ballet, Theater dance and Choreograph class, she has taught at various schools and studios in Japan and across the USA. She is a guest teacher at LaGuardia High School(New York), Cedar Lake Dance Company(New York), Carnegie Mellon University(Pittsburgh) and has taught for the Re:Bourne company across the globe. She was a regular guest teacher for Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures. Every year Mami produces a major teaching/audition tour across Japan for The Broadway Experience.
Since 2004 Mami has been a writer for the famous Japan Dance web magazine “Dance Cube” of Chacott.

Ayaka Kamei

愛媛県松山市出身。3歳より立脇紘子バレエ研究所でバレエを習う。アジア国際パシフィックコンクールファイナリスト。イギリスのノーザンバレエスクールでコッペリア、くるみ割り人形、白鳥の湖で主役を演じ、首席卒業。その後、ニューヨーク州立パーチェスカレッジのダンス科に進学、A President Award for Achievementを受賞し、最優等で卒業。大学在学中には交換留学のプログラムに選ばれ、オランダのCodartsで勉強する。2016年のSpringboard Danse Montréalにも選出され参加。これまで、ジョージ・バランシン、マース・カニングハム、アントニー・チューダーを始めとする数多くのバレエ・モダン・コンテンポラリーの振付家の作品を踊る。現在メトロポリタンオペラバレエ、ニューヨークシアターバレエ、CBGDance(リハーサルディレクター)、AZOTH Dance Theater、自身のAKDanceで活動。ダンサーとしてだけでなく、ゲストアーティスト、振付家、教師、コラボレーターとしてアメリカや日本で幅広く活躍している。

Ayaka Kamei is originally from Japan where she trained at the Tatewaki Hiroko Ballet School. She graduated from Northern Ballet School in England and from SUNY Purchase in NY where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a President Award for Achievement in the Conservatory of Dance. She studied at Codarts in the Netherlands and Springboard Danse Montréal as well. She has performed works of countless choreographers such as Balanchine, Cunningham, Tudor, Bettijane Sills, Aszure Barton, Matthew Neenan, Taryn Kaschock Russell, Dario Dinuzzi, Austin McCormick, Keith Michael, Roy Assaf, and Jessica Lang, to name a few. She also presented her own choreography at Newsteps Series and Shapeshifter Lab with NY Japanese Women Jazz Composers. She currently performs with the Metropolitan Opera, New York Theater Ballet, CBGDance (Rehearsal Director), and AZOTH Dance Theater, teaches at Chen Dance Center and at her own company, AKDance, and helps wardrobe at New York Theatre Ballet.

Eriko began her dance training with her mother ,Yoshimi Iisaku.
In 2006, She moved to NewYork and entered The Ailey School as a Fellowship student for 4years , Jacob's Pillow Contemporary Tradition and ADF(American Dance Festival)
She has had the opportunity to perform works choreograph by Francesca Harper , Sonia Dawkins, Iquiail Shaheed , Edger Zendejas , Helen Pickett , Willy Laury , Maleek Washington and Performed in Alvin Ailey's "Memoria" at NewYork city center in 2007-2009.
She has performed with Dallas Black Dance Theater , New Ballet Ensemble , New Jersey Symphony Orchestra , Danz Gala in Graz , The Metropolitan Museum of Art , Bryant Park Presents Modern Dance , ITE Dance Festival , Holland Dance Festival , ImPulsTanz International Dance Festival , MASS MoCA , EXILE TRIBE Concert Tour in Osaka Stadium (Guest Artist) ) and Eikichi Yazawa ''Still Rockin'' concert tour as a featured dancer in 2011 and Guest Dancer / Choreographer in 2015.

3歳より クラシック バレエ を始め、様々な ジャンル の ダンス を研 鑽。   名倉加代子氏推薦で アルビンエイリスクールに16歳で単身 入学。
15~21歳までの成績優秀者 奨学金制度 「FELLOW SHIP PROGRAM」に合格。茶谷正純Fellowship , オプラ・ウィンフリーFellowship等の奨学生として4年間学ぶ。「エイリーカンパニー N.Y公演」( シティセンター )スクール 生選抜として3年連続出演。その他アポロシアターにも選抜生として出演。
ジェイコブスピローに32倍の難関を通過し、コンテンポラリー部門オーディション合格参加。2年後 American Dance Festival スカラシップ合格
'10, 4 元フランクフルトバレエ団プリンシパルダンサー、フランチェスカハーパー率いる The Francesca Harper Project に所属。ダンサーとしてヨーロッパ、アメリカツアーに参加。数々のカンパニーでゲスト出演、マーサグラハムカンパニーガラコンサート、ソリストとしてニュージャージーシンフォニーオーケストラ、メトロポリタンミュージム、ウィーンインターナショナルダンスフェスティバル、ジョイスシアター、アポロシアター、マス・モカミュージアム等の舞台に立つ。 
日本では'11 ,12 矢沢永吉コンサートツアー Still Rokin' 名古屋(ガイシフォーラム) 、大阪(大阪城ホール)、東京(武道館)、14' Exile Tower of Wish 大阪(京セラドーム) Featured dancerとして出演、 15' ROCK IN DOME ではダンサーとして出演するとともに、振付師としても参加。

Natalia Sheptalova

1996-2003 studied and graduated as a ballet artist from the Moscow Classical ballet academy, Moscow, Russia. 2003-2007 completed her bachelors degree in theater history from The Russian Academy of Theatrical Arts, RATI- GITIS. 
2003-2010 start teaching Ballet technique and character dance classes at the 'Education. Culture. Sport' school, Moscow, Russia. 2010-2011 ballet teacher at the Joffrey Ballet school, NY. 2011-2016 Ballet and character dance teacher at Brooklyn Jewish Dance Institute, Brooklyn, NY.
2013-2016 character dance, pointe, technique and floor barre teacher at Gelsey Kirkland Academy of classical ballet. 2015-2016 Ballet teacher at musical theater school MB2, NY. 2014-2016 Character dance teacher at Princeton Dance and theater studios, Princeton, NJ. 2017- character dance assistant teacher at School at Steps.
2003-2009 soloist with The Russian National Ballet ( director Sergei Radchenko) and Moscow Festival Ballet. Touring nationally and internationally with large classical repertoire.
